I only use thick real wood, authentic glass Ball Mason jars, thick natural jute cords and most importantly high-quality flowers! - Lights will last longest if you do not leave them running continuously. The brand of batteries you use as replacement batteries can affect how long your lights stay on. The manufacturer says the lights will last 60 hours but since I don't make the LED light packs myself I can't control how long they last before needing a battery change. Depending on the quality and strength of the batteries you use I would think 24 hours would be a better estimate. Depending on how you run the lights you may get the manufacture's estimate or less for battery life.

How Long Until My Order Ships?

* Contact me if you need your item shipped ASAP. For non urgent shipments I need 3-5 business days to personally handcraft your order and then transit time of 2-4 days for Priority Mail and 1-3 days for Express Mail. (Steel address planters take 1-2 weeks production time)

* I offer FAST USPS Priority Mail, cheaper USPS Ground or FedEx at checkout. 

* Again please contact me if you need a rush order. Otherwise I will ship in 3-5 business days since I personally hand make each and every order myself. Sometimes I can ship sooner if I can get my little ones to bed early :)

* Unless you request otherwise, I try to ship all orders containing plants Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so they don't end up sitting in a post office or postal truck over the weekend.

 

How much is shipping?

* To get a shipping quote please add one or more of my handcrafted items to your shopping cart then proceed to checkout. This will give you several shipping options. 

* PLEASE CONTACT ME if you are ordering 2+ items and are quoted > $29 to ship 2 alcohol bottle items. Also contact me if you are charged >$15 to ship 2 drinking glasses.

* Live plant items must ship with Priority Mail.

* Small items under 1 pound can ship with slow but cheaper USPS First Class Mail.  No insurance is included with First Class Mail but you can upgrade to Priority Mail which includes up to $100 in shipping insurance.

* FedEx or UPS is slower than USPS Priority Mail, but may be cheaper for orders needing larger boxes or orders that are heavy. 

** The online shipping calculator is usually correct.  If you are placing a large order with many items you can email me and ask me to review your shipping quote.  I may need several days to review your shipping quote for accuracy.  For a shipping quote review please email me a screen shot showing all items in your order, the shipping rates being quoted and the address the items are being shipped to. With this information I can look for cheaper shipping and get back to you in a few days. 

* FYI Shipping companies are now charging “Dimensional Shipping” rates.  This means that the rate is often based on the box size even if the box doesn’t weigh very much.  I may send you a 3 pound box but they will charge box of us for a 13 pound shipment because that is the rate they have assigned to that size box.  I use the most economical boxing I can but my items need lots of padding to protect from breakage.

* Do you have a favorite alcohol bottle? Contact me to see if I have your favorite bottle in stock. My husband complains that my bottle collection takes up too much room! I have lots of bottles that don’t get listed because I only have 1 of them or because my little ones keep me too busy to put all my items online.

* Do you have a special bottle that is just sitting around taking up space? You can mail me your favorite bottle and I would be happy to make it into the perfect gift by turning your favorite bottle into a soap dispenser, succulent planter, vase, candle holder, serving dish, snack bowl, candy dish, ash tray, pendant light shade or something you saw on Pinterest …. Just email me for details! I’m happy to do custom orders!

 

About my bottles:

* Remember to ZOOM IN on my pictures, look at the edges and see what a difference professional machining makes!

* I also apply a surface protectant to the bottle itself that repels fingerprints, hard water minerals... Giving the bottle a brighter appearance and making fingerprints easy to wipe away.

* My bottles come from friends, country clubs and restaurants. I take pride in what I make and only ship bottles I would use as gifts. We are giving new life to a used bottle that otherwise would have spent nearly 1 million years in a landfill! True! If the quality of the label or the color of the foil on the bottle neck (when included) is important please let me know and I will do my best to find a bottle that is just right for you.

 

Can I pick my bottle?

* You can pick some aspects:


- Use the drop down menu to select if you want a drainage slit in your bottle. Plants will do better if you add a drainage hole.


- (For Wine Bottles) label on or label off? Please use drop down menu to select label on or off.


- Wine bottles come in various shades of brown, green, clear... I will select a beautiful colored bottle for you unless you send me a specification. Wine bottles maybe cork top or screw top, red wine bottle, white wine bottle or a champagne bottle in shape (based on availability).


* If you have a strong preference please send me your preferences in the "NOTES" section during CHECKOUT. Bottle colors/bottle shapes are subject to availability and there may be an extra charge for special requests such as a particular brand, bottle shape & glass color.  I have to charge a fee for such requests because it can take me a very long time to unpack all my bottles to find one that meets all of your specifications.

How do you cut the bottles?

* I cut your bottle using professional lapidary equipment. Some of which I inherited from my beloved late grandpa Pop pop. As a teenage he started teaching me. Now I'm grown with children of my own. I'm using what he taught me to make a living while I take a break from teaching to be with my little ones. His professional equipment and and my attention to detail is why my bottles have such beautiful, safe edges.

About my bottles:

* Remember to ZOOM IN on my pictures, look at the edges and see what a difference professional machining makes!

* I also apply a surface protectant to the bottle itself that repels fingerprints, hard water minerals... Giving the bottle a brighter appearance and making fingerprints easy to wipe away.

* My bottles come from friends, country clubs and restaurants. I take pride in what I make and only ship bottles I would use as gifts. We are giving new life to a used bottle that otherwise would have spent nearly 1 million years in a landfill! True! If the quality of the label or the color of the foil on the bottle neck (when included) is important please let me know and I will do my best to find a bottle that is just right for you.

 

Can I pick my bottle?

* You can pick some aspects:


- Use the drop down menu to select if you want a drainage slit in your bottle. Plants will do better if you add a drainage hole.


- (For Wine Bottles) label on or label off? Please use drop down menu to select label on or off.


- Wine bottles come in various shades of brown, green, clear... I will select a beautiful colored bottle for you unless you send me a specification. Wine bottles maybe cork top or screw top, red wine bottle, white wine bottle or a champagne bottle in shape (based on availability).


* If you have a strong preference please send me your preferences in the "NOTES" section during CHECKOUT. Bottle colors/bottle shapes are subject to availability and there may be an extra charge for special requests such as a particular brand, bottle shape & glass color.  I have to charge a fee for such requests because it can take me a very long time to unpack all my bottles to find one that meets all of your specifications.

How do you cut the bottles?

* I cut your bottle using professional lapidary equipment. Some of which I inherited from my beloved late grandpa Pop pop. As a teenage he started teaching me. Now I'm grown with children of my own. I'm using what he taught me to make a living while I take a break from teaching to be with my little ones. His professional equipment and and my attention to detail is why my bottles have such beautiful, safe edges.
