** When you buy my light shade and add your own fixture/pendant lighting you will SAVE MONEY and get just the look you are going for! **
* You will save money buying from me because you are buying just the glass light shade (no bulb or fixture included).
* Then you can go online, or to your local hardware store, and select a bulb and pendent light fixture that works with your home decor and your budget. That way if you need a plug in pendant light, one with a dimmer, one with an inline switch, OR one that works with track lighting... you can find the fixture that works best in your home/dorm or man cave. Then pair the fixture you found with my beautiful glass light shade for the perfect look!
* I recommend getting my light shade first then buying your light fixture so you pair the two for best fit. To save the most $$ you can buy the wire, socket and plug yourself. Then use how to guides on the internet to wire up your own simple and affordable pendent light!
HOW DO I CUT THE BOTTLES?
** I use cold working glass cutting techniques and PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT that costs thousands of dollars. Some of the equipment I inherited from my grandpa. I do NOT use the string and fire technique or a bottle cutter. When you buy from you you get an item with SMOOTH and VERY professional cuts to the glass. Zoom in on the pictures and see for yourself! Be sure to click through all the great pictures! Notice that the cut edge is smooth so you will not hurt yourself when you change the light bulb! There are cut bottles for sale out there that are not as smoothly cut and polished as mine are. Be sure to always zoom in and look at my competitor's bottle edges.
* This is a HANDMADE and upcycled item. Much care goes into my creations. Being handmade items from recycled bottles the labels and bottle neck foil (when included) may not be in perfect condition. You may also see small marks from the hours I spent cutting and hand polishing the bottle using my professional machinery. Remember to ZOOM IN on my pictures and see what a difference professional machining makes. Please hand wash only.
